We're officially in the fourth quarter of what has seemed like the longest and worst year ever. However, 2020 has brought about new opportunities for teachers and schools to reimagine education, birth new leaders (and possibly babies in 2021, not mines), explore new industries, read and write more, and build relationships.
While the 2020 pandemic has left many people without jobs, depressed, broken due to loss of family or friends, or extremely anxious........... there is still hope. There is hope that families will emerge stronger that ever, schools will close the achievement gap and eliminate inequity issues that were present before the pandemic, churches will bolster outreach programs to reach the lost at all cost, and our country's leadership would recognize the importance of integrity. There is still hope that once a vaccine is developed for COVID-19 we would live out the words of Job 23:10, "But He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I will come forth as gold" (New International Version).
Don't give up! Don't give in! Start Strong! Finish Strong!
